Traditional or Hybrid:
Your International Path

Traditional International Undergrad

A non-U.S. citizen who enrolls in a college or university to pursue a full, degree-seeking undergraduate program (such as a bachelor’s degree), while studying on campus in a traditional, in-person format. These students typically enter directly from secondary education (or its equivalent) in their home country and relocate internationally for the duration of their studies. They are distinct from exchange or study abroad students, as they are fully admitted into the institution and intend to complete their entire undergraduate degree there.

Hybrid Intensive Student

A student enrolled in a program that combines primarily online coursework with required in-person residency periods. While most classes are completed remotely, these students are required to attend campus for an intensive week—typically twice per year—where they participate in concentrated academic sessions, collaborative projects, and face-to-face instruction. This model provides flexibility for remote learning while maintaining essential on-campus engagement and community experience.
