Faith in action was clearly demonstrated as Champion's students participated in the launch of Gospel Light Baptist Church at its Park Place campus. Through service, support, and leadership, students applied what they are learning in real ministry contexts. This experience highlighted Champion’s mission to prepare students not just academically, but spiritually and practically for gospel-centered service.
One of the most meaningful indicators of Champion Christian College’s mission in action is the spiritual growth of its students. In 2025, seven students were baptized, publicly declaring their faith and commitment to follow Christ.
These baptisms represent more than a number—they reflect hearts being changed, lives being shaped, and the work of the Lord moving powerfully within the Champion community. Through discipleship, campus life, athletics, and ministry opportunities, students are encountering the Gospel in personal and transformative ways.
We celebrate these moments because they point to what matters most: students growing in their relationship with Christ and living out their faith with boldness and conviction.
Academic excellence took a significant step forward with the launch of Champion Christian College’s first Honors Program. Built to challenge and support high-achieving students, the program encourages deeper scholarship, leadership development, and intellectual curiosity—all grounded in a Christ-centered worldview. This initiative underscores Champion’s commitment to rigorous academics and student growth.
This year also expanded Champion’s academic reach with the launch of the Dual Language Bachelor of Arts in Portuguese. Designed to equip students for ministry, missions, and global leadership, the program reflects Champion’s commitment to preparing students for service beyond borders. The degree represents a strategic step forward in multilingual education and cross-cultural engagement.
For the first time in college history, Champion Christian College proudly hosted the NCCAA Southwest Regional Tournament. Hosting the tournament showcased Champion’s growing athletic program, facilities, and hospitality while bringing teams and supporters from across the region to campus. It was a milestone moment that reflected the college’s growth, credibility, and commitment to excellence.
Champion Athletics reached a major milestone in 2025 when the Men’s Basketball team won its first NCCAA Regional Tournament Championship. This victory was more than a title—it was the result of discipline, teamwork, faith, and perseverance. The win firmly established Champion as a competitive force in NCCAA athletics and marked a new chapter in the college’s athletic history.
2025 marked a historic and joyful moment as Champion Christian College hosted its first-ever Women’s Basketball Alumni Game. Former players returned to campus to reconnect, compete, and celebrate the program that helped shape them. The game honored the legacy of women who laid the foundation for Champion athletics while inspiring current student-athletes with a living picture of commitment, growth, and lifelong community.
Champion Christian College’s athletics programs had a year of both spiritual and competitive success.
